I’ve finally arrived in Virginia.

It was a really long drive that I don’t think I want to make too many times. Now, that I’ve driven all this way, I get to spend the next day or two unpacking and moving everything in. Oh what fun that will be…

Just a quick update. Running is coming along pretty well. Got my mileage up to about where I want it to be. Running on the drive wasn’t too much fun but I actually got to run in some nice places. The first days run in Meridian, MS wasn’t too interesting. I basically just ran up and down this one road.

My afternoon run was really nice though. We stopped at some battlefield in Chatoonaga, Tennessee. The next day’s run in Bristol, Va. was probably the best. I got in a 9 mile run on the Virginia Creeper trail. Even with it being freezing (27 degrees…) the run was really enjoyable. The scenery along the trail was something else. I wish I had a camera with me, but oh well.

That’s it for now. Time to unpack…
