First, I’ve redesigned the website a little bit to make it a little more friendly for both the visitors and me in editing things. I’ve also changed the website address (though the old one will still work) so that it’s easier to remember, find, and doesn’t have that annoying .blogspot in it. I looked at several different website domains, but eventually settled on: https://www.scienceofrunning.com/ It was available, and seemed to make the most sense. I wanted to get away from just using my name because that makes it seem like the website is all about me, when in reality it’s about helping others and the interaction that occurs because of things I post.
Secondly, I’m in the middle of finals for school, so it’s a busy time period. I just gave a presentation on some research I did for a class that looked at Motivation in High School versus Elite runners. It’s relatively interesting, so I’ll post that up sometime.
In the mean time, here’s a video of several different views of me running at several different paces in slow motion. Some of the time my biomechanics are good, some bad. I’ll do some discussion in the future. My form isn’t quiet as crisp because I’m coming off some hamstring issues.
